Hi Neighbour

My name is Paddy, and I am a candidate in the Hobsons Bay Council election this October, for the Laverton Ward, which covers Laverton and parts of Altona Meadows.

My wife and I live in Laverton, with our pet dog and chickens. I’m running for election because I want to see Altona Meadows and Laverton get our fair share from Council. We absolutely love where we live – we even got married here – and I believe our suburbs deserve the same quality of services as all of Hobsons Bay.

I have years of experience in unions fighting for working people and what is right, I will bring those values and that experience to fight for local residents. I am also a proud Labor Party member.

I have also worked in government, delivering on transport and utilities projects and undertaking community engagement, so I know both how to get outcomes and how important community involvement is. I will bring my skills in decoding government and making it accessible to all in Hobsons Bay.

I love where we live and I want to see our suburbs be the best they can be.
